You can defer a bill using the upload form in your account. Just take a photo of your bill, upload it, choose how much and when to pay and we’ll pay it on your behalf. Please make sure to only upload one bill at a time. If you upload multiple bills in the same deferral, we won’t be able to accept them and you will have to re-upload them separately.
Please make sure the payment options are clearly visible on your bill for processing. We will get in touch with you if we require any additional information on your bill.
The amount we can pay towards your bill depends on your account balance. As soon as your account has completed our initial onboarding requirements (5 bills paid with us), you can defer as many bills as you like up to your available account balance.
If your bill is over your account balance, you can choose to part-pay it provided that your bill provider accepts part payment (most telecom companies and utility companies accept part payment) or you can use our pay extra feature.
To use our pay extra feature, upload your bill and enter the full amount you want to pay towards your bill (even if it’s over your available balance), and we’ll automatically add the difference between the amount you want to pay and your available balance to your first payment to make sure it gets paid in full. Please note that unfortunately this feature is only available after you’ve successfully deferred a bill with us, unless your first bill is a car rego. If it’s a rego you can simply upload the bill, enter your maximum available balance and we’ll automatically add the difference to your first payment and pay the rego in full.
If your bill is submitted on a weekday before 6pm AEST it will be processed the same day. We can pay bills on weekends and public holidays as long as they are processed beforehand.
