We created Deferit to be a budgeting tool that allows our users to manage their bills on their own terms. With this in mind, you can move your instalments dates out by up to 2 weeks from the original date, and by up to 1 month if you get in touch with our Customer Heroes.
To move an instalment log into the app and select the relevant payment from the Payments tab on the home page. From here, you will be able to Change payment date. Don't forget to press Update to finalise your changes!
If you are on the website, just head onto the Upcoming payments page to find and move your payment(s).
If you need it to be moved by more than 2 weeks, fill out our support form here, or get in touch with our Customer Heroes on (02) 8417 3056 during our opening hours (9:00am - 5:00pm, Mon - Fri AEST).
There are no fees involved in moving your payments, but please keep in mind that if your payment is attempted and missed, your account will be restricted until the account is up to date. This applies if payments that were originally missed are rescheduled to a future date.
